Winter Wedding at Trickle Creek | Westin & Melanie
Westin and Melanie met when we started working together in summer of 2016. Both were their first jobs out of college, in Dallas. Not that long after I started, they ended up in training together. Westin says that he purposely picked that training to attend after he saw my picture on Outlook and thought I was cute lol!
They were both interested in each other but never thought it would work out. The main reason was their positions were a full-time traveling position and they knew they would never see each other. Another reason for Melanie was that she said she would never date a co-worker.
Coincidentally, they ended up traveling to the same client site for several months in a row and hung out pretty much every day. And that leads us up to the big day!
The week of the wedding, Melanie felt a little stressed over the weather. Snow, ice, cold temperatures, OH NO! I knew that we would make everything work regardless of any hurdles that came our way. The temperature was not cooperating at all for an outside wedding so we moved everything indoors. The venue owners were awesome and helped us with a flip! Everything was beautiful!
As the reception started, the weather continue to get worse. The venue worked quickly to ensure they had supplies to keep the sidewalks cleared! The best part….the photographer was able to grab the couple when the snow started to fall and got some gorgeous photos! New Year’s Eve Wedding was a success!
